Barbara King took care of our three cats for 5 ½ weeks and I’m so happy to have found her to pet sit for us.  She did a truly wonderful job.  She loves animals, which, of course, should be the first requirement for a pet sitter.  She’s super responsible, which should be the second requirement.  After a few days of getting her texts reporting that “everything is fine” (sometimes with pictures), I felt completely comfortable knowing our furry kids were being well cared for.

Besides that, Barbara is a very experienced vet tech, which further increased my comfort level.  I knew she would quickly observe if anything of significance was wrong with any of them and take appropriate action.

Barbara also has a high level of initiative.  On more than one occasion she handled things that came up that I hadn’t foreseen.  And here is something very important – she quickly comprehended all my instructions, written and verbal, without altering them or misapplying them.  On a couple of occasions I gave her somewhat complex instructions, and she understood them and applied them easily.

In short, Barbara is a reliable, honest, trustworthy animal lover who I will be delighted to call upon to care for our four-legged family members any time my husband and I are out of town.
